Description: The Lemon Grass has its origin in tropical regions of Asia, namely in India where it is used in the traditional medicine and in the gastronomy. According to Manuel Vaz, in Cape Verde, this plant is known as Xaliz. (C.V.). The most common uses are medicinal applications, compresses and teas, as sedative and to relieve digestive problems. (*)
