A collection of the phrases, which together form an Image of the Quinta da Vitoria neighborhood. It is a counterpoint to negative images, usually associated with self-built neighborhoods in the suburbs of Lisbon, disseminated by the media (newspapers and television) and public opinion.
These phrases are a testimony to the history of the neighborhood, since its foundation and the construction of the first houses, the housing construction methodology, the ways of habiting and coexisting in this neighborhood, the economic survey of the residents, the anguish for the impacts of neighborhood demolition and rehousing.
