Description: The Java Plum or Jambolan (G.) is a tree originally from India, Nepal and Indonesia. According to Ajit Dangi, the seed of this Jambu came from India, having been planted in the neighborhood of Quinta da Vitória for about 20 years.
Its fruits were consumed and sold in the neighborhood, and the seeds used for medicinal use, such as control of diabetes. (*)
