Description: The Java Plum or Jambu (G.) is originated from India Nepal and Indonesia. According to Caussiccumar, this specific Java Plum(I.) was 30 years old and covered completely the roof of the house. During the months of September and October, the fruits were sold in his grocery located in the neighborhood. It was very difficult to find these fruits in Lisbon. Almost all clients were originated from India. The pink color seeds and white pulp are ground and used in medicinal teas, as for diabetes control. (*)
